Bookings

  • Bookings can be made directly via the RNTD website.
  • We take bookings up to 2 months in advance. Bookings are secured when the booking-fee is paid in full.

 

Rental Returns

  • A regular rental period is for a duration of 3 days
  • This means the dress is due to be returned upon the stated date and time at checkout.
  • Once a rental item has been delivered, there are no cash refunds, but an exchange of voucher will be granted within 3 hours’ notice of receiving the garments, and collection of the garment will take place on the same day and from the same address to which It was delivered.
  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging.

  • We can only accommodate 1 exchange based on the availability of the replacement garment.
  • Customers are expected to notify RNTD urgently if there is a delay in returning the item.
  • If customers receive an item that is not as described, or faulty, customers are expected to contact RNTD within 3 hours of receipt of the item and we will arrange exchange, or refund of the booking fee once the item is received back at the boutique.
  • Late returns attract a late fee of 33% of the hire price per daythat the return is late, after the last day of booking. Late fees will be charged to the customer's card that was provided at the time of booking.
  • If the customer has not returned the rental garments(s) within 7 days after the return date without notification, RNTD will consider the rental item(s) as non-returned and will charge the customer's credit/debit card 100% of the recommended retail value in addition to the rental cost that the customer has already paid. The credit card on file will be charged and if unsuccessful, referred to a debt collection agency.

 

Condition of rental items

  • All items available to rent at RNTD are laundry cleaned by a professional company. RNTD also engages qualified seamstresses to mend and repair items. The condition of rental items are "as new" or "near new". Due to the nature of the item being worn multiple times, there may be minor visible repairs and imperfections. We recommend all customers to inspect garments prior to renting.

 

Laundry Cleaning

  • RNTD will laundry clean the dress after the rental We use experienced laundry cleaners that are familiar with the care instructions. By accepting the terms and conditions, customers agree not to attempt to clean the dress, if the customer attempts to clean the dress and it results in permanent damage, additional costs may incur.

 

Use and Damage of garments and Late Returns

  • You will treat the garments with the highest standard of care.
  • You will not in any way alter (temporarily or permanently) the garments in any manner without our prior consent in writing.
  • Garments will be returned on the expiry date of the rental period and in the same condition as when they were received.
  • You will inspect all garments and it is your obligation to record to us in writing within 2 hours of receipt of the garments if there is any damage, defect or wear and tear to the items. As long as you return the garment in the same condition as when it was delivered to you, you will not be liable for any damage.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot rent garments to you or other customers which has been damaged in any way whatsoever, whether due to your fault or another’s. Although we will try to fix (at your cost) any damage to the garment, we need to ensure that the item is fit for purpose, and we need the garment to be ready for the next hire. As such we have the right, to exercise at our sole discretion, to charge you the replacement Fees of any of the garment which is (i) not returned within 7 (five) calendar days of the end of the rental Period; or (ii) damaged or altered in any way, for any reason whatsoever, whether due to your own fault or another’s.
  • Whenever the retail value of garment needs to be determined in terms of the Terms and Conditions, we make this determination, but we will act reasonably in making such determination.
  • We have the right, to exercise at our sole discretion, to charge you Late Fees if any garment is returned after the rental period.
  • You authorise RNTD to charge the card which you used to make the payment of your rental for any Replacement Fees or Late Fees payable in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.
  • Any Replacement Fees or Late Fees paid by you in terms of the Terms and Conditions are in addition to any rental cost.
